2. Keratin Nail Tip Glue

Used for: keratin (fusion) hair extensions

Keratin nail tip glue is an essential kind of hair extension supply. They allow us to rebond existing extensions with nail-shaped keratin to create our own. The nail / U shape allows us to easily wrap it around hair extensions.

3. Hair, Scalp Glue and Heat Protectant

Used for: Keratin bond (fusion), tape-in hair extensions

This hair extension tool is essential if you use glue or heat to attach hair extensions, particularly for first-timers. A heat protectant simplifies the process of installing extensions. This hair extension tool also shields the scalp from heat and the hair from debris. Each tip can be handled effortlessly by untangling one strand from the others.

Heat Protectants are in liquid or physical forms. Talking about the liquid form, we usually talk about heat protectant spray. You spray it all over the wearer’s hair, and when attaching hair extensions with heat, it won’t damage other parts of the hair or scalp.

Physical heat protectors are ususally in a ciculr or rectangular form. Thread a strand of hair through it, and slide it up and let it stick to the wearer’s scalp, and then attach the fusion hair extension to avoid heat damage to the natural hair and scalp.

4. Removable Double-Sided Tape

Used for: Tape-in hair extensions

Given the longevity of our Remy tape extensions, it is more likely that the tape will become damaged than the natural hair strands. In that case, carefully remove the torn tape, cut a fresh piece, and apply it to the extensions!

Pre-cut pieces were included as a new option at the beginning of 2019 if you want to avoid cutting the parts yourself. You will save a ton of money as a result in the future. Take advantage of refreshed tape-in extensions that you can wear repeatedly. Adhesive tape can be used by clients to attach wigs and weft extensions. It’s a fantastic idea to always keep it on hand, primarily if you work in a salon.

5. Hot Glue Gun for Extensions

Used for: Keratin bond (fusion) hair extensions

Glue guns were initially designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Yet hairdressers have already used them differently. It works with strands and applies adhesive evenly to tips.

6. Hair Extension Pliers

Used for: Cold fusion (keratin bond without using heat), microbead, micro-ring, micro-loop hair extensions

There is no other way to clamp down the micro ring beads holding the hair than with pliers. The removal of micro rings is the same. The microbeads won’t be harmed in any way, and this hair extension tool is straightforward.

The pliers are also quite affordable while still being of excellent quality, so you may use them for a long time. If you implant micro ring extensions in your salon, you must need this.

7. Finger Cots or Glue Protectors

Used for: All types of hair extensions

Simply apply this hair extension supply to the tips of your hair. No more filthy, sticky fingers! This is the ideal instrument to prevent messing up, including tape and keratin.

Finger cots are excellent for both beginners and experts, and they are reasonably priced. You can handle hair colors while wearing these protectors. Moreover, cots have a unique texture at the end to improve grip.

8. Glue and Keratin Melting Pot

Used for: Keratin bond (fusion) hair extensions

Once you plug it in, the hair extension tool will heat up, and you just need to add glue or keratin to cause it to melt. Use the adhesive to attach keratin, glue-in, or even weft extensions once it has reached a liquid condition.

9. Silicone, Copper, and Aluminum Micro Rings Links

Used for: Microbead, micro-ring, micro link, nano ring (much smaller rings) hair extensions

These links, which are sometimes called beads, are used to attach or remove hair extensions. Even if they are not delicate, with hundreds of them in your skull, you may eventually need to replace at least a few strands.

10. Glue Sticks

Used for: Keratin bond (fusion) hair extensions

It’s glue, so it holds everything together. There are various colors of glue sticks, which can be melted in a saucepan or used in a hot glue gun. Anybody who often installs fusion extensions needs to have this hair extension tool.

11. Latch Hook Crochet Needles / Hook Pulling Needles (Wooden, Plastic)

Used for: Weft, micro ring, micro loop, micro bead, and many other cold fusion hair extensions

With a latch hook needle, you can easily thread a strand of hair through the micro ring. The needles can also be quite helpful for sewing on wefts and fastening wigs.

12. Nylon and Cotton Sewing Threads

Used for: Weft hair extensions

Here’s a simple one that the majority of ladies will already know. Yes, we are referring to the nylon and cotton sewing threads necessary for anyone who enjoys wearing weft hair extensions!
It’s clear if you’ve ever sewed extensions. Ensure you have plenty of thread on hand, which will be needed throughout the procedure. These threads are used to fuse and tightly wound your hair with the wefts.

13. Hair Color Ring

Used for: All kinds of hair extensions

A hair color ring is a hair extension accessory used for all types of hair extensions. Any hair technician will need to use a hair color ring to help match hair colors accurately. It is essentially a collection of hair swatches, each representing a unique hair color with the correct shade or tone. The swatches are typically arranged in a circular pattern on a ring, hence the name “hair color ring.”

14. C-Shaped Weaving Needles

Used for: Weft hair extensions, weaves

As one of the most essential hair extension accessories, C-shaped weaving needles are ideal for weaving hair extensions, weaves, and braids, use the Doctored Locks Weave C-Needle. These needles have a blunt point to protect the scalp. Without worrying about injuring your customer, use weaving needles to attach wefted hair to Linkies track weaves or conventional braided weaves.

15. Hair Extension Loop Brush

Used for: All types of hair extensions

As a hair extension accessory, the loop brush is not a regular brush, it has loops instead of bristles like a regular brush. That ensures that the brush will not pull or snag on the wearer’s hair extensions which can cause extensions to break or dislodge.

16. Keratin and Tape-In Extensions Adhesive Remover

Used for: Keratin bond (fusion), tape-in hair extensions

These drops safely remove the glue from your hair! Apply a drop or two, then easily remove extensions. As of 2019, a gel-based replacement has also emerged. The same applies. These adhesive removers are completely damage-free and safe for your strands.

What are the easiest extensions to install?

Temporary hair extensions are much easier to install than permanent hair extensions. With temporary hair extensions, wearers can attach or take them off any time they want.

Temporary hair extensions include halo hair extensions, clip-in hair extensions, and ponytail hair extensions.

Permanent hair extensions are professional hair extensions, which usually need a hairstylist’s help and professional hair extension supplies for installation. They are much more difficult and time-consuming to install.

Permanent hair extensions include tape-in hair extensions, fusion (hot fusion and cold fusion) hair extensions, micro link hair extensions, and weft hair extensions. Among these tape-in hair extensions are the easiest to install and the most popular type of hair extensions.

What hair extensions last longer on head?

With permanent hair extensions, as new natural hair continues to grow, it will eventually squeeze out of the keratin bond, and need reattachment. Here are how long will each type of hair extension will last on the head with the help of all practical hair accessories and tools.

Halo hair extensions and clip-in hair extensions are temporary hair extensions, wearers can attach and remove daily or any time they want, and without needing a hairstylist. Wearers can also put on or remove ponytail extensions themselves and pretty much anytime they want. So we won’t be listing these three. We will only concentrate on permanent hair extensions.

Keratin Bond, Pre-Bonded, Fusion or Hot Fusion Hair Extensions
All these terms mean the same thing. Keratin Bond hair extensions are attached by melting the keratin bond at the tip of the hair strand and as it cools down, it will fuse with the wearer’s natural hair to form a bond. Keratin bond hair extensions normally will stay attached on the wearer’s hair for 3-4 months before it needs to be readjusted.

Microlink Hair Extensions
Similar to micro-loop, micro-loop or keratin bond (applied the cold way), and a few other cold fusion hair extensions, they share very similar attaching techniques, which is to thread the wearer’s natural hair through a tiny ring or holed bead, and clip it tight-closed with a hair extension plier. Microlink hair extensions will remain in the wearer’s hair between 8-10 weeks, or 2-3 months before reattachment.

Nano Ring Hair Extensions
Similar to microlinks, nano ring extensions use tiny, undetectable rings instead. The rings are threaded onto a small section of the wearer’s natural hair, and the hair extension is then inserted through the ring and clamped in place with hair extensions tools. How long nano ring hair extensions stay attached to the natural hair depends on several factors, such as how well the extensions are maintained and the stylist’s skill. Typically, nano ring extensions can last 6-8 weeks or 1-2 months before reattachment.

Tape-In Hair Extensions
Tape-in hair extensions are the most popular type of hair extension that uses double-sided tape to attach the hair extensions to the natural hair. They are permanent hair extensions, cost less and much easier than other permanent hair extensions to attach. The tape is applied to a small section of natural hair. In every 6-8 weeks, the wearer will need her tape-in hair extensions reattached.

Weft Hair Extensions
Weft hair extensions or sew-in weft hair extensions are sewn into a braid or cornrow in the natural hair. They can usually last for 6-8 weeks before they need to be taken out and reinstalled.

● What hobbies and interests do you have?

I enjoy exercising. That’s a very important part of my life. I’m a super active person.

● Do you have a phobia? If you do, what is it?

No, not that I know of. I’m a very realistic person. If you mention outlandish stuff like aliens, monster in the bush, I’d be out of my mind.

● What is something you would love to do in the future?

I want to learn how to swim. I know it might sound a bit sarcastic, as I just mentioned that I enjoy doing exercise. Unfortunately, swimming hasn’t been on my list. I think I better catch up on that.

● What wig would you wear if you wore one and why?

I’d give HW1 a try. It looks natural and beautiful. Though we categorize it as a medical wig, almost any female can wear it. It’s got a lace mesh base, breathable, and flexible. You don’t need glue or tape to fix it to your head. Pretty easy, and it gives you all the long hair look a girl could want.

  • Do you have a phobia? If you do, what is it?

I don’t like being confined in a very small space. I believe it was due to a childhood experience. When I was six years old, I accidentally tripped and fell into a shallow well. I had to wait for two hours before I was found. Since then, I’ve found I just can’t tolerate the idea of being alone. I guess that makes me an active team player.

  • Which mens/womens hair system do you sell the most? Why that model?

I recomend HS25V. Oftentimes I’d introduce this model to my new clients to start with, so they can introduce this to their new clients see if hair systems are what really suit them, before they carry on with lace or mono hair systems.

  • Which mens/womens hair system do you sell the most? Why that?

Most of my clietns are after Q6. And their clients happened to be guys who are into hair systems that are durable and natural. Q6 is a pretty good pick for them. With proper care, it should easily last 6 months.

  • Which men/womens hair system do you sell the most? Why that model?

New Australia. When it first came out in early 2023, it made me top of sales. I think most wearers like it because at the design statge, our experts considered all possible aspects people could want from a hairpiece, such as a natural look, a level of comfort, and affordablity; it’s similar to lace, but most wearers can afford.
