RETURN POLICY

New Times Hair never stops providing the best products and services for our customers.

All custom hair systems may be repaired or remade or refunded for any problems attributable to our side as long as we receive your return within 3 months of the shipment date. 

If you ordered the wrong custom-made hair system by mistake, the hair system cannot be returned for a refund. If you would like us to adjust it, extra costs will be charged accordingly, including shipping.

Our Exchange Procedure

Step 1: Request a return/exchange via DM or Email and provide us with your order number, detailed reason for the return, and images of the damage if there is any.

Step 2: Our customer service or sales representatives will authorize your request and send you the address to ship your item(s) back.

Step 3: All returned items will be inspected when we receive them to check if they qualify for a return.

*N/B: items that will not be approved for a return: stock orders that have been altered, worn, washed, damaged, or are not in their original packaging. 

Step 4: Once your return is accepted, we will process a refund to your original payment account or ship the item(s) you requested to you within 3-5 business days.

1. Who is responsible for the shipping cost?

The shipping cost of the return is paid for by New Times Hair if we created the problem that led to the return. Otherwise, the cost is the sole responsibility of the customer.

2. Can I cancel my custom order?

A: You can cancel your order if it has not been arranged for production.

B: If we have started producing your order, you will only receive partial refund in order to cover the labor and material costs incurred. Please reach your sales representative to see how much refund you would get. 

C: Your order cannot be canceled if the order has been completed or is to be completed very soon.

 3. Do you refund repair orders?

We do not refund repair orders under any condition.

If you are not satisfied with the repair, we can help you adjust it as per your request, please return it within 30 days after receiving it.

4. Can I get a faster exchange?

All exchanges take a very long time if you follow the standard exchange procedure. If you wish to receive the exchange faster, we suggest you place a new order online before making the return.

What is a grey hairpiece?

A grey hairpiece is basically a hair system with a base made of very soft, breathable, and interwoven lace materials. In addition to being very breathable and comfortable, Our grey hairpiece is highly appreciated by wearers worldwide for appearing very natural and undetectable.

How should I install a grey hairpiece for my customers?

Step 1: Using scissors, cut some tape into thin, short pieces. Apply the small tape pieces to the perimeter of the base. Since the hair system tape is double-sided, you need to peel off the protective paper on the other side.

Step 2: If your customer is not bald on top, shave the remaining hair. Try to shave an area that fits the size of the toupee. Use rubbing alcohol to clean the grey hairpiece and your customer’s head. It is very important to clean off all dirt and scalp oil before taping.

Step 3: Choose where you want the grey hairpiece to be and make marks on the head.

Step 4: Position the grey hairpiece, and slowly apply it to the scalp from the front of the head to the back. Make sure you do not press the tape onto your customer’s baby hair during this process. Continue to apply pressure to ensure the toupee is completely secure to the head.

Step 5: Style the hair as your customer desires.

How to cut the grey hairpiece down to my client’s size?

Having the grey hairpiece cut down to your client’s size is not as complicated as it may seem. All you need is scissors, a marker, and a measuring tape.

To begin with, you need to take the tape and measure out the base size your customer wants and mark those points with the marker. You need to do this for both the width and the length of the base.

Then, you can join up the marks to make one solid line around the base of the .

Before you pick up the scissors, you need to pull the hair back behind the line you marked out.

Then, carefully cut along the line and make sure the hair stays behind the line; otherwise, you will end up cutting the hair off of the grey hairpiece by mistake.

If you do end up cutting the hair, you will be left with short pieces of hair around the hairline, and they will not look very natural.

How to maintain the grey hairpiece?

Step 1: Remove the tape by slowly peeling it away from the polyurethane areas of the grey hairpieces. If it is difficult to peel the tape off, try to soak the men’s lace wigs in water first.

Step 2: Soak the men’s lace wigs in liquid solvent. Soaking times may vary depending on the type of lace hair system and tape used. Thirty minutes is enough in most cases.

Step 3: Take the men’s lace wigs out from the solvent and lay it in a sink with the hair down. Gently remove the residue with a brush. After getting the residue off, place your unit back into the solvent for a couple of minutes.

Step 4: Move your men’s lace wigs from the solvent back into the sink. Gently glide the brush across the edge of the base and out through the hair, and all the remaining residue should slide off easily. After a few minutes of brushing, rinse your grey hairpiece with lukewarm water down through the base.
At this point, the men’s lace wigs should be clean and clear of the old tape residue.
